How do I need to handle glucose solutions for patch clamping cardiomyocytes?

You need to ensure glucose-containing solutions for iCell® Cardiomyocytes patch clamp methods are filter sterilized and stored at 4°C. We recommend dispensing these solutions into workable aliquots, which are stable up to 1 year when stored at -20°C, according to our Application Protocol. Ma et al. (2011) provided more details about saline solutions for individual ion channels.
