Neuronal homeostasis and synaptic pruning are supported by microglia through phagocytosis, a form of endocytosis. Using a combination of the IncuCyte S3 Live-Cell Analysis System and pHrodo BioParticles, the Application Protocol describes how to prepare iCell® Microglia, assay reagents, and compounds for measuring phagocytosis via kinetic imaging.
