Multiplexed Optical Sensors in Arrayed Islands of Cells for Multimodal Recordings of Cellular Physiology

Up to 20 simultaneous readouts of physiological parameters in iCell Cardiomyocytes were demonstrated using the MOSAIC technique, described in this paper. The method provides a detailed look at cellular parameters in parallel as the cells are perturbed and how these changes interact with each other providing a rich source of data on cellular behavior.
